Build Process
8 Steps to Your New venture Home
1.
CHOOSE Your Floor plan
Explore all of your options and choose the home that’s right for you from our large selection of single-family house plans. Our homes offer open floor plans with modern day amenities.
2.
Choose Your Options & Upgrades
Our sales representative will help you go through the various color and material choices available to you as a Venture purchaser. We will help you create the home that’s perfect for you.
3.
Obtain Financing
Venture works with very experienced mortgage experts. They are waiting to help you begin the approval process. They will assist you through obtaining pre-approval for a mortgage or help you decide if a construction loan is right for you.
4.
Sign Your Contract
Once we receive your pre-approval or approval for a construction loan, you will sign a purchase agreement.
5.
Construction Of Your Home
Venture breaks ground on your new home. Construction times can vary depending on the model of home, time of year, or other factors. You will be given periodic updates and opportunities to view your home as it’s under construction.
6.
Preliminary Walk Through
A Venture representative will do a pre-drywall walk-through with you. This will give you an opportunity to address any items that need to be addressed with the framing of the house before the insulation and drywall are installed.
7.
FINAL INSPECTION/WALK THROUGH
Just before closing, a Venture representative will do a final walk-through with you. This will give you an opportunity to address any items that require attention before closing. You will also receive a copy of our limited warranty.
8.
Closing / Move In
The closing process itself may take several hours. Once all the papers are signed the hard part is over and its time to celebrate! Your new Venture Home will be ready to start building memories for years to come.

He has built over 1,000 homes throughout Michigan and was a member of one of the largest home building companies in Michigan for the first part of his career. From condominium projects to developed lots & land purchasing, Michael has a part in every aspect of development and home building.
